YDD - Youth Dua Drive Registration

Just as Marthiyas and Nauhas reverberated in our houses and cars during Muharram and Safar, we should aim to have recitation of the Holy Quran and Duas reverberating around us as we enter a period of Spiritual Blessings – the months of Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan.
 
With this in mind, the Jamaat takes pleasure in launching a YOUTH DUA DRIVE, YDD, which will train our youngsters in the recitation of Duas leading upto the Holy month of Ramadan. Classes will be held at our centre in Stanmore on Thursdays and registration will begin from Thursday 19th June.

DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION HAS NOW PASSED. Any new applications will be dealt with at the discretion of the co-ordinators.

Induction and Registration was held on Thursday 19th June 2008 

The first full training session began on Thursday 26th June 2008. The classes begin at 8pm and end in time for Maghrib Salaat. The boys occupy classes on the 1st floor and 2nd floor of the Imambara and the girls will occupy rooms behind the ELC. Please contact the respective co-ordinators for more information. Training for boys aged 4-5 will take place in the Ladies section. Boys aged 6 and over will be trained in the Gents section.

It is assumed you have the basic ability of Qur’an & Dua Recitation.
