 The following du`a is recommended after the daily obligatory prayers. The du`a, according to Shaykh Abbas Qummi in MafateeHul Jinaan has been taught by Imam Ja`far as-Sadiq (A).
Bismillahir-raHmaanir-raHeem.
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Allahumma Swalli `alaa muHammadinw wa-aali muHammad.
O Allah, bless Muhammad and his household.
Yaa man arjoohoo likulli khayr
O He from whom I can hope for all goodness
Wa-aamanu sakhaTahoo `inda kulli sharr
And I am safe from His anger at every evil.

Imam al-Hadi (A) reported from his fathers that:
“Ameer al-Mumineen Ali ibn Abi Talib (A) has said that he (A) once heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) saying: 'When people shall be resurrected on the day of Judgement, a caller will call me: ‘O Messenger of Allah! Allah has permitted you to reward your lovers and the lovers of your progeny who have followed them for your sake; and opposed their enemies for your sake. You can reward them as you like’. I shall say: ‘My Lord! Paradise! Put them in whatever part of it You like. This is the praised estate, which You have promised’.” (Bihar al-Anwaar)

And Allah has concealed His wrath and anger in sins. So do not belittle any sin and consider it to be small. May be the wrath of Allah is in it. And He has concealed His friends and saints among the people. So do not look down upon anyone perhaps he may be the friend and saint of Allah." (Bihar al-Anwaar)

 The Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said:
“He who leaves home in search of knowledge, walks in the path of God”
It is now almost 17 months since the bookshop was established in the portacabin, which sits besides the main hall. The whole project started as an experiment, an upgrade from a trolley, stacking CD/DVDs to a more spacious cabin, stacking CD/DVDs with the added Books.
In that time, we have been so surprised by the eagerness of the members to take up the readership of the books available, that we had to increase subjects and stock, so that today we carry almost 700 titles in Books, CDs & DVDs.
In the ladies, they have designed and created a more spacious, friendly and accessible bookstand that has helped to attract even more interest and readership.

(1) On seeing each other give condolences with the following words:
"May Allah bestow upon us and upon you great reward for grief of Imam Hussein (A), and make us and you amongst those who will assist Imam Mahdi (ATF) to avenge his killing."
(2) Recite Suratul Ikhlas (x 1000)
(3) Recite the following (x 1000)
"O Allah! Send your la'na (curse) on those who killed Imam Hussein (A)."

( O' Our Apostle Muhammad ! ) ( Unto them ) come ye, let us summon our sons, and ( ye summon ) your sons, and ( we summon ) our women and ( ye ) your women, and ( we summon ) ourselves and then let us invoke the curse of God on the liars!"
