Since 2013, the Hujjat Safeguarding team have been working in the background with each of the sub-committees (BUJUs) of our Jamaat in order to not only assist them in meeting their obligations under law, but to educate and guide them towards a more holistic approach towards nurturing children and vulnerable adults.
The panel have recently finalised the Safeguarding Policy for Hujjat which is available here.
As the policy is now in place and ‘active’, the panel will shortly be running various training sessions for community workers as well as facilitating an open discussion primarily with the heads of each sub-committee but also open to members of the public to attend to learn about the important strides being taken to elevate the importance of safe working practices.
The panel will have a permanent feature on the Hujjat website going forward which will contain important contact information, policies & processes, details of events and general guidance. For any queries, please do not hesitate us at email@example.com
