Weather Warning: 23 & 24 December 2013In: Latest News
Please take note of the weather warning issued by the Met Office today:
“Spells of heavy rainfall will continue to affect parts of southern England and South Wales during Monday and overnight into Christmas Eve, clearing the southeast of England before dawn. This will fall onto saturated ground and lead to a risk of flooding.
This is an update to the warning issued on Sunday. The public should be prepared for the likelihood of some significant disruption due to the combined hazards of heavy rainfall and high winds, for which see also the separate wind warnings.”
Based on the guidance above, we ask all those who are to attend the centre tonight and tomorrow, to allow extra time for your journey and to co-operate with the volunteers during entering and exiting the centre.
